Meet our Master Technicians / Team Leaders
Don Keller
Shop Foreman
I have been working at Bernardi’s for 27 years, 22 years as shop foreman.
As a child, I was always interested in anything mechanical. I would take apart anything I could get my hands on to see how it worked, from household appliances to the lawn mower to the family car! At age 14 I performed my first major engine work; a valve job on a V8 Oldsmobile.
I took 2 years of mechanical engineering courses, after which I started a one-bay auto repair shop and eventually branched out into repairing construction equipment. I then attended 2 years of business school.
I began my career at Bernardi Honda as a lube technician and in 1987 became shop foreman. I work with a great bunch of proactive guys who make the days interesting and keep my skills sharp. I am proud to say that I have been named the Honda National Master ASE Technician of the Year, an honor that reflects the abilities of our entire team at Bernardi.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy biking, skiing, hiking, woodworking and spending time with family.

Having worked at Bernardi Auto Group for 20 years really says a lot about the ownership, management and the people you work with day in and day out. It has always been a great experience to work at Bernardi Honda and I hope to continue for another 20 years. I plan on retiring here and can’t think of a better place.
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing hockey and other sports and tinkering with old hot rods with a group of friends. I am also involved with the high school youth groups at my church.

I have been a Honda enthusiast my entire life. I started working at a Honda motorcycle dealership in the mid 70’s and moved on to Honda automobiles in the early 80’s. In 1999 I began working at Bernardi Honda. I was impressed by Rick Voss, the Service Director, and Bernardi’s emphasis on fixing cars correctly and by Don Keller, the shop foreman who makes sure that the technicians have the best equipment and tools to properly service Hondas. In my ten plus years working at Bernardi, I have enjoyed the challenge of repairing and servicing Honda vehicles and I am a Certified ASE L1 Honda Master Technician.
I have recently remarried and together we have five children. I have raced Honda cars with the SCCA and motorcycles at NHMS. In the winter I enjoy skiing and in the summer have become hooked on sailing out of Boston Harbor.

I have worked at Bernardi Honda for 9 years. I started as an automotive technician and have been a team foreman for 4 years. I’ve been in the automotive field since 1982 working in the MetroWest area on a number of different vehicle makes and models, and I find it very rewarding to now have the opportunity to work on Hondas. My personal car is a Honda and I wouldn’t consider anything else for my family.
Everyone at Bernardi takes his or her job very seriously and is dedicated to learning new updates that help maintain Hondas at the ultimate performance level. Customer relationships are very important to me and I listen carefully to our clients when they describe what is going on with their vehicles.
I am continuing with my Honda factory-training program and hope to be a Honda Master technician within the year. My hobbies include snowmobiling in Maine with my family and dirt biking with my son. I also like cooking gourmet meals.

I have always been fascinated with how cars run and I enjoy fixing them, so it was quite natural for me to find a career in the automobile service industry. For the past 13 years I have worked at Bernardi Honda, starting as an apprentice lube technician and working my way to become a team foreman.
In my spare time I love to cook, play video games and spend time with my family and dogs.
